I’m a big fan of brachsoni, I’ve washed them many times they aren’t see through and have remained starch firm for years now.

    Which brands do you prefer?

Don’t judge a person or anything for that matter by its cover and it actually works both ways to be clear. To explain someone can be wearing a white shirt and be a completely unlearned and unorthodox person etc…. And vise versa someone can be dressed in shorts and a t shirt and in truth be a very learned person just dressed plain and simple to keep a low profile etc….. There’s no need to dress fancy and look rich when in truth Hashem loves and treasures the humble person who lives a simple life……. A person doesn’t need to live a rich and fancy life to be a happy person.

I really like Paul Fredrick. Unfortunately, a while ago they stopped their deal on plain white shirts, and prices went up. So I’m looking for a new brand as well!

DaMoshe, I agree about Paul Frederick and hope the 3/$100 sale price returns someday.

@common, do you do a review of every posts author’s history before you reply or do I have a distinct honor?

You’ll be happy to hear I have gotten a way better job as a consultant now! I’ll thank you for your congratulations in advance.

Charles Tyrwhitt is the only way to go.

Charles Tyrwhitt would be a good way to go if they had front pockets for pens and CC cards like most other white shirts do. Paul Fredrick raised their prices like crazy but you can still check your old emails from prior purchases for coupon codes on future purchases. They give off 20-25% and free shipping. Most will still work

Adonis non iron are the softest shirt i could find. They carry them in The Mens Collection in Bork Park. And they come with or without front pockets

I can’t recall the last time I needed a “pen” and why would you keep credit cards in your shirt pocket rather than in a wallet in your back or side pants pocket??

    The best white shirt??

A clean one that is freshly ironed. Any of several of the above mentioned brands are great but why is it that such a large percentage of yungerleit seem to be unaware of washing machines and laundries?

    #2125148

    Gadol > I can’t recall the last time I needed a “pen”

Strange for a thinker and a traveler like you! Rogachover used to put a wet towel on his head to cool his thoughts down. I am using a pen and paper in my pocket to write down thoughts when travelling (you can recognize me this way). Maybe, you just post on YWN immediately and you need to keep your thoughts organized.

It’s not a large percentage, and anyways their wives do laundry. so ask your “many” female friends who are Kollel wives .

@gadol, it’s funny you should mention this, I had just done the same and four of my shirts have be ruined.

I have seen &collar shirts are popular with some of the younger crowd. They look pretty resilient.

    > and anyways their wives do laundry

Ask your rov, but a psak from mine is that the husband should not let the wife to launder husband’s clothes. Maybe not everything is included, I did not ask to clarify.

I don’t think you need to keep any more pens in your shirt pockets. And worry about covering their points. You make enough points daily in the YWN coffee room and on your license.

    Keep up your great work.

You can buy Kirkland Signature Men’s Traditional Fit Dress Shirt – Exact Sleeve Length online at costco dot com but if not a member the price is 5% extra – $26.24.

The price I quoted includes shipping and handling.

    #2127217

Note that during WFH, number of shirts sold exceeded number of pants sold.
