So suppose you live in an apt building with a lot of young families. And you want to know who makes the best food, so you’ll accept a meal invitation.
July 28, 2013 3:28 am at 3:28 am #968558Torah613TorahParticipantWhat if it’s the fattest wife? Obviously she always makes good food.
July 28, 2013 5:07 am at 5:07 am #968559CRuzerParticipantTorah, no way! The wife usually doesn’t eat much of the food she prepares, and if that’s enough to make her fat then I would stay far away. A fat husband means that it’s good food but he just eats too much, for good reason!
July 28, 2013 5:40 am at 5:40 am #968560YatzmichMemberA fat husband could mean that she’s a terrible cook and he’s filling up in some fast food places.
July 28, 2013 6:25 am at 6:25 am #968561popa_bar_abbaParticipantA fat wife just means she has a slow metabolism. Only when men get fat is it because he eats a lot.
July 28, 2013 11:17 am at 11:17 am #968562yaakov doeParticipantMaybe he’s fat since his filling up on bread and potatoes since the wife is a bad cook.
July 28, 2013 12:50 pm at 12:50 pm #968563oomisParticipantMaybe this is a pointless thread!
July 28, 2013 5:37 pm at 5:37 pm #968564jewishfeminist02MemberMaybe you should try them all out and see for yourself!
July 28, 2013 6:56 pm at 6:56 pm #968565WIYMemberIf they are both fat and chassidish take the invite.
July 29, 2013 8:24 am at 8:24 am #968566YW Moderator-42ModeratorThis is a very important point. I think from now on all men should do their best to become as fat as possible so as not to chas v’shalom cause a shem rah on their wife’s cooking.
July 30, 2013 6:30 pm at 6:30 pm #968567mewhoParticipantthis has turned into a very important post now that the rule about large sugary drinks has been overturned.
hooray….lets all go uot and supersize!!!!!!!!
July 30, 2013 7:56 pm at 7:56 pm #968568oomisParticipantThat rule was foolish and unenforceable anyway. What would stop someone from buying Two or even THREE extra-large drinks that could potentially exceed the limit. And what about sugar free drinks? Were they also being limited in size? Stupid “Weight Police.”
July 31, 2013 7:28 am at 7:28 am #968569jewishfeminist02MemberBuying multiple smaller volume drinks costs more than buying one supersize drink. And drinks loaded with sugar are linked to higher weight gain than sugar-free drinks.
July 31, 2013 12:54 pm at 12:54 pm #968570ToiParticipantguys give up. i win.
