Well Biden said a speech and said maga republicans are extremists
“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.”
Does he call out left wing kooks, nope the republicans are what’s going to destroy the foundation of the United States
I’m actually glad because he’s putting his foot in his mouth right before the election
September 1, 2022 9:27 pm at 9:27 pm #2120484Reb EliezerParticipantcoffee addict, don’t drink so much coffee as it effects you.
September 1, 2022 9:30 pm at 9:30 pm #2120486🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantCoffee – be prepared. You are soon to be told that he never said it, it’s good that he said it, and that you are just in denial of something having to do with trump that makes them not care what horrible things he calls you.
September 1, 2022 9:59 pm at 9:59 pm #2120488Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantCoffee ☕, my advice is opposite: don’t watch too much fiction.
I know that you are supposed to respect the elderly, but you don’t need to listen to their speeches unless they talk directly to you and you’ll offend them by not listening
September 1, 2022 9:59 pm at 9:59 pm #2120490GadolhadorahParticipantTrump and the MAGA Trumpkopfs are truly a threat to our democracy. So too are the left wing loonies among the Dems…..Both have gained undue control of their respective parties and moderate voices have either retired or are being marginalized.
September 1, 2022 10:39 pm at 10:39 pm #2120510☕️coffee addictParticipantReb eliezer,
Its affects not effects
September 1, 2022 10:40 pm at 10:40 pm #2120511Reb EliezerParticipantWe always look for the middle way as extremes are no good. When we go to extreme according to the Rambam is in order to end up in the middle.
September 2, 2022 8:58 am at 8:58 am #2120582lakewhutParticipantWhat’s middle of the road, hiring trabs health secretaries abs giving the taliban all our weapons?
September 2, 2022 8:58 am at 8:58 am #2120584simcha613ParticipantCA- do the Republicans who denounce left wing extremists also denounce the right wing ones? Usually not.
September 2, 2022 8:59 am at 8:59 am #2120591akupermaParticipantBiden, like Trump, believes in appealing to his base. That is a risky proposition in any event, since rallying your supporters may backfire if at the same time you rally everyone else to vote against you. Consider Hillary Clinton who denounced the “deplorables” – it encouraged them to turn out and elect Trump.
Biden has multiple risks. Most serious, Trump might not run, or might run and not be nominated (the recent Democratic victories in House races suggest that a Trump endorsement, while helping in a primary, undermines a candidate in an election – if neither Trump nor the rest of the Republicans want to support a “loser”). Polling suggests that most Americans are moderates, or as some might say, either independents, DINOs or RINOs – so while being a fanatic helps in the primaries it won’t help in the election.
September 2, 2022 10:17 am at 10:17 am #2120624smerelParticipantBiden and co are clearly looking to cause conflicts and fights because they believe it will help them in the next election. No previous president – not even Trump – would have attacked those who have a different political ideology AS A GROUP as viscously Biden does. Biden’s repeated efforts to do so are super inflammatory. They also run the risk of turning into a self fulfilling prophesy. Which is what Biden is hoping for to help the Democrats in the elections.
September 2, 2022 10:42 am at 10:42 am #2120635Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantBidens mo is pretty obvious over time. He is focused on how he is being seen politically at the moment. Everything else is secondary. When a disaster happens, like Afghanistan exit, he immediately starts explaining why it was not their fault. He would say that he found no vaccines because he needed to diminish Ts role. If he really cared about students with loans, he would do forgiveness at non political time to increase support for it. But he did opposite – used the issue to help in elections even at the price of having more people angry. I don’t think he has any political goals outside of his own standing.
September 2, 2022 10:42 am at 10:42 am #2120630☕️coffee addictParticipantWATCH: Biden Attacks “MAGA Republicans,” Says They “Embrace Anger, Thrive on Chaos”
Simcha613,
Has Trump done that? Please show me. I think a president should be above labeling citizens
Anyways may we see a repeat of “deplorables” and a win for republicans
Oh and Reb eliezer, remember the dictum כל הפוסל במומו פוסל
September 2, 2022 11:03 am at 11:03 am #2120648Reb EliezerParticipantI am not coffee addict which you call yourself.
September 2, 2022 4:53 pm at 4:53 pm #2120730☕️coffee addictParticipantReb eliezer,
I was referring to Biden calling MAGAers extremists who wants to destroy the country, the reason he’s doing that is because he’s an extremist that wants to destroy the country
September 2, 2022 6:28 pm at 6:28 pm #2120740Reb EliezerParticipantcoffee addict, would you elaborate, how is President Biden an extremist who wants to destroy the country?
September 3, 2022 11:33 pm at 11:33 pm #2120817☕️coffee addictParticipantReb eliezer,
There is a rule כל הפוסל….. which you have constantly applied to trump and if that’s the case we can constantly apply it to Biden
September 6, 2022 1:02 am at 1:02 am #2121544emes nisht shekerParticipantBiden was asked who he was referring to when he said MAGA Republicans and he responded those who would overturn free elections and would threaten or use political violence. He specifically said that he was not referring to those who just voted for Trump.
Coffee Addict, Syag, and others here; if you are offended by Biden calling those people out please just get up and say it outright that you too, hate American Democracy. No need for all this outrage and pontificating.
And please give it a break with misrepresenting everything. It just makes you seem unable to think for yourself.
September 6, 2022 12:05 pm at 12:05 pm #2121699☕️coffee addictParticipantThey tried everything last time to nullify the votes of 81 million people. This time, they’re determined to succeed in thwarting the will of the people.
This is a blatant lie, no one tried nullifying 81 million peoples votes, they wanted complete transparency of the votes, not calling it a night and then take out “votes” under a table, not having absentee votes in a state that didn’t go through the legal (decided by their state constitution) way and six years ago I heard that the election was stolen from Hillary and numerous snowflakes shouting “not my president!” are they extremists?
They are only extremists when it’s the party you don’t support
One more question, has trump ever called anyone extremists?
September 6, 2022 2:39 pm at 2:39 pm #2121818emes nisht shekerParticipantSo Coffee Addict is equating upset Hillary supporters saying Trump is “not my President” with an active campaign to undermine the result of a fair and free election which included acts of political violence.
But since Coffee Addict is offended… I suggest Coffee Addict spend some time reviewing the numerous outrages Trump and his MAGA Republican supporters have engaged in the last several years. Cry me a river.
September 6, 2022 3:13 pm at 3:13 pm #2121826GadolhadorahParticipantBeyond a joke. Trump has spent the past 6 years calling the Dems “radical socialists”, “America haters”, etc. etc. He has personally vilified his opponents based on their physical appearances, racial and ethnic attributes and of course failure to geneflect in his direction. He has disparaged his own appointees for their failure to agree with and indulge his mishugaas. I’m glad Biden finally found his voice to speak out against Trump and his MAGA enablers.
September 6, 2022 4:51 pm at 4:51 pm #2121851☕️coffee addictParticipantGadolhadorah,
He has never called American citizens that only the politicians
September 6, 2022 6:41 pm at 6:41 pm #2121870smerelParticipantIt’s amazing how blind the Biden supporters are to how full of hate they are and how wrong Trump’s opponents frequently can be with their behavior against Trump (as obligatory when making such a comment let me be clear I’m NOT a Trump supporter -so you don’t to start sneering “cultist” and all the other obnoxious comments I get for daring to not follow the DNC party line on Trump)
Like over 50% of Americans in general and two thirds of all neutral independent voters I agree it was a hatful speech designed to cause damage
If Biden had anything other than malevolent intentions with this speech he would have struck a conciliatory tone and said something like “those who believe” “were misled by Trump” should reflect on the danger of their view. blah…blah… blah…It would certainly have more of an effect than the actual effect which was that ninety percent of all Republicans, Trump supporter or not, looked at it as an atack and dangerous rhetoric. People rarely change their mind because of viscous ataks but by Biden and co that is such second nature to them that they forgot how to talk differently
September 6, 2022 8:12 pm at 8:12 pm #2121869GadolhadorahParticipantCA: First, most politicians and the others he personally villifies ARE American Citizens. Secondly, if you just listen to his rants at his MAGA rallies, he frequently DOES just refer to “Democrats” w/o making clear his hyperbole is focused only on politicians. In the same way, Biden is not calling the suburban soccer moms “facists” but inartfully using the term “MAGA Republicans” to refer to those at Trump rallies who do the “lock her up” chants and the politicians and others who deny the election outcome.
September 6, 2022 8:37 pm at 8:37 pm #2121973Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantPeople elected Trump to do things over politicians did not dare, and he did not disappoint.
Nobody elected Biden for his bold vision. He was elected, as it says, for promising unifying and calm. I don’t think he lied. Probably the power went to his head, together with people around him (that he selected).
