I think today was better
I tried hard to do and say
Things that would fulfill (?) what
I had not done yesterday.
We are only humans
And grumpy moods may come our way
But we must keep in mind that no matter what
With us they should not stay.
Try not to let those “little” things
Wrattle you up inside and out
It may just be the Satan come to test
If we surpass this or fall right down.
And if we fall, remember
There’s always another chance to try

Hi eclipse, how is your tooth/ear feeling today? Any better? Did you happen to check it out yet? If yes, so what were you told that you need to do? If not, I think you should take care of it ASAP before you encounter any type of problem. Take care & Hatzlacha Rabba on whatever treatment you may have to endure!!

my baby has had a stomach virus on and off since wednesday and my wife had it a little yesterday and now i think im getting it! (cant be to sure though about me)

it’s going around. my son-in-law just over it, & I had to babysit my grandchildren overnite Thurs. & my 3 y.o. granddaughter had it for the 2 days she was by me 🙁

we just don’t get it yesterday my kid only threw up once in the morning and it wasn’t so much shabbos he was fine so idk why he threw up by his playgroup again

I am very grouchy right now so thank you to whomever revived this thread. It is very possible I am not grouchy but just very much not looking forward to something. I really am not interested in putting up with much unless I have to. On top of all this, I missed a phone appointment with a co-organizer and it isn’t very easy to reach them and we are supposed to be putting something together for this shabbos (which I am looking forward to).

It isn’t just a mood swing (too much I need which requires money I don’t have and the time is lessening in which I can get the money but I don’t even have a job) and there is another matter (hint: very common subject here) which is not making my life any easier due to what is involved to try and get things done without any toes getting stepped on

I did verify it and I purposely wrote it in such a way that people wouldn’t know who it is (even if you know who I am and which high school I went to you won’t know which rabbi it is)
Then again I did write it at close to four in the morning when I was not all there due to being fully distraught (now that I slept a little though it still hurts I am more calm and in control)
If you really feel it would be such a problem I can ask the mods to remove it. I just had to let out some of the pain

‘frei’ means Jewish, not religious/’nisht frim’.. to the best of my knowledge.
I’ll never forget, when I went to enroll my daughter in a BY kindergarten: the administrator said to me: ‘don’t worry, we don’t have the frei here’ (or something to that effect.) that was about 24 yrs ago.. I had been a BT for only about 12 yrs. I had gone with another mother (also a BT), & neither of us enrolled our daughters there. ironically, our girls did end up there a few yrs later.. there was the most wonderful administrator in the former’s place! it was a gr8 school, btw.

thanks we tried that (Ibuprofin) didn’t work so well and can only give it to him every 6 hours he starts complaining after 3

You should check with your own doc, but tylenol and advil can be given overlapping. We only do it for really intense pain or high fever. I am NOT a big advocate of meds, but teething pain and earaches are over the top in my book.
I’m really getting turned off to the CR by some people’s chumras & trying to push their trips, & being unnecessarily hurtful in the process.
it’s not nice to bum someone out by saying things like:
“Therefore there is no mekor for doing a Mezinka tanz other than ‘minhag hagoyim’.” … what’s the point of saying that, after I happily said we had (obviously a version of) the mezinka @ our child’s wedding?… to make me feel like a shiksha?!
there have been other things said, too.. but this one was out & out derogatory. :/
