It’s been a bit rough, in these rooms, the last couple of days
so, let’s share light happy things
I just got into having “an apple a day”, i discovered that the best apple for eating (raw, not cooked or baked) is called Jonah Gold and the next best one is Gala

I would like to think that the reason that we disagree sometimes is because we care about each other. That being said, sometimes you want to be without someone caring telling you their opinion.

Anyone ever taste Fuji apples? We eat them raw, and we also use them in compote – they’re so sweet that you don’t need to add sugar when making the compote!

I love Gala apples, as do many people. It is now the second most popular variety of apples in the US. My personal favorite variety is Pink Lady, a very similar apple.

This is the utterly nonconfrontational story of my totally uneventful day:
I went to shacharis. I came home. I ate. I went to shiur. I went to class. I hung out with friends and studied. I davened mincha. I went to class again. I did some more work. I went home and worked some more (with time-wasting on facebook and the coffeeroom.)

I just saw a hysterical clip of this old man who goes into this fruit store and is like talking about how his blackberry is frozen but it’s like the berry – blackberry and all these things that if you were just listening to them you would think that they’re talking about technology but they’re talking about fruits.
It’s hilarious, and you see how much of technology we get from fruits…hmmm wonder why that is.

I saw that a while back it was so hysterical.
What about strawberries? They’re out of season here, but we still have some in the store from Central America or someplace, big juicy ones that are even a little bit sweet. And strawberry ice cream! Bliss….

Caramel ice cream with chocolate syrup on top.
Grapes are nice Juiced (Electric Fruit and Vegetable Juicer), strained for seeds, and served cold for Shabbas Kiddush.
