Today early in the morning, if you look in the northeast night sky, you will be treated to a treat. it is the peak night for the perseid meteor shower which is an amazing sight The bright moon will seriously hamper observation of the Perseids’ peak, but even with the moon , you could still find a good place ( maybe Floyd bennet field?) to watch them . it should put on a good show, with 30 to 40 meteors per hour expected around 3 a.m. local time Wednesday morning it is worth waking up for ( and then you could daven vasikin afterwards). it is amazing niflaos haborei
