I’m just interested in the feelings people here have about the popa and his resignation.
All in all, although he started out with Hitler youth, I don’t think there was any open semitism during his papacy.
He was drafted into Hitler Youth – it wasn’t something you joined in 1945 (it had been voluntary in the 1930s). He (along with Queen Elizabeth) are the last world leaders to be veterans of World War II. From now on every country will be led by people who are too young to remember the holocaust. That may be significant.
He generally wasn’t considered to be such a bad guy
Who changed the title and OP? LOL – it makes ybrooklynteacher’s post incorrect.
So it was changed. I found it strange that i made the same mistake twice.
Mods what do you have against me and my threads? I’m an innocent person.
??????????
Reminds me of this thread: http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/sopa-and-pipa. lol
This way the web crawlers won’t find this potentially dangerous conversation.
Now that you mention it, in the address bar you can clearly see the original title.
Mods: please replace the phrase “The papa” with the phrase “La papa”.
It’s the first time in history for ill health, and the first time in 600 years since Popa last retired, period.
