I am a lifelong GOPer and was a member of the Executive committee at one point, I have a Trump yard sign of my front lawn, I have participated in demonstrations against Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson so I cant be call a lefty.
I still cant understand the purpose of the motorcade driving in Manhattan, I can understand Brooklyn or swing areas such as Queens or the suburbs, was it to be in your face? I am serious I am trying to understand the thought process.October 26, 2020 1:37 pm at 1:37 pm #1913738
“was it to be in your face? ”
Though isn’t that sort of the point of lawn signs. nobody says “i’m not sure who to vote for, let me see who common saychel has a sign for that’s how I choose”
Obviously lawn sign is less “in your face” than a parade in Manhattan but its the same ideaOctober 26, 2020 1:49 pm at 1:49 pm #1913745☕️coffee addictParticipant
Probably to show people you shouldn’t be ashamed you’re a trump supprterOctober 26, 2020 2:48 pm at 2:48 pm #1913779yaakov doeParticipant
Heshy and the other great minds behind the motorcade did it to instigate jeers and violence. It will not influence the New York state electoral vote which will certainly be for Biden.October 26, 2020 7:20 pm at 7:20 pm #1913917☕️coffee addictParticipant
I wonder if Walter Mondale thought he was going to lose 49 states to Ronald Reagan when Reagan was re-electedOctober 26, 2020 9:03 pm at 9:03 pm #1913931yytzParticipant
It’s mamash the worst kind of assimilation.
Copying the goyim who, in a series of a similar incidents nationwide, have made pro-Trump motorcades through leftist neighborhoods or protest areas in an attempt to cause a violent reaction.
This is a Jewish thing to do?! Intentionally provoking violence in an attempt to make the other side look bad for a moment, even though that probably won’t change anyone’s mind?

Coffee – Mondale knew he was toast during the second debate when Reagan was questioned about his age and said “I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent’s youth and inexperience.”October 27, 2020 9:04 am at 9:04 am #1914050
@ubiqutin, I own my house, I painted my house brown, planted rose bushes and have a sod lawn, are any of the above in your face to my neighbors? No its my personal taste, same with the fact I fly a flag on Memorial Day and July 4th, my personal choice on my private property. The fact that I see Biden signs in the more Liberal area does not offend me in the least.October 27, 2020 12:46 pm at 12:46 pm #1914114
You’d be hard pressed to convince me (or anyone) that you put up a Trump sign on your lawn simply as a matter of taste. Ie you find it aesthetically pleasing like you do your rose bushes
It is pretty clear that the sign is there to announce and publicize your political preference. Granted the announcement is limited to your neighbors and whoever passes by but it is the same announcement made by the parade to non-neighbors in Manhattan.
I’m not sure why owning the house is relevant, I’m pretty sure all thoe Trump flags where on cars owned by their owners too.October 27, 2020 1:20 pm at 1:20 pm #1914134
@ubiqutin, The sign is placed on my private property, can it irk some people driving by? could be, could the fact I fly an American flag irk people? could be. could it irk people that I have a brown house The fact is being done on my personal property and you need to look at my private property to notice that above.October 27, 2020 1:43 pm at 1:43 pm #1914148
To be clear
it is a free country and you have the right to announce your preference for whatever you please. And of course a sign on a lawn is more limited than a parade driving throughout the city.
But the underlying motivation behind them are the sameOctober 27, 2020 10:05 pm at 10:05 pm #1914261
Anyone who sees my sign has to drive down my street and look at private property to see it, a far cry from a motorcade,
