Is Trump all he’s trumped himself up to be?
Do we sometimes try to show off by theorizing and pontificating about yes or no questions?
The correct answer would be yes.July 24, 2015 1:53 am at 1:53 am #1093089pcozMember

What makes you think my brain is wired at all?
(I’ll take it as a compliment)
I was talking about a instances where we ramble on trying to sound intelligent but end sounding quite the opposite.
Would you like fries with that?
Well I would’ve were it not for the large amount of unhealthy fat contained in the burger which besides being unhealthy is also quite tough on the digestive system. Seeing as the fries are are deep fried in oil, hence the name fries I don’t think it would be wise to have them with the burger although on their own they would have probably been fine. In this case I will have to politely decline your kind offer and say no thanks.July 24, 2015 2:42 pm at 2:42 pm #1093093Kvod ShamayimMember

The problem is, sushibagel, that the question could also have been answered “yes.” And in that case, an argument would start anyway about why yes or why no.
Even more, people can say yes or no for different reasons. Even in Supreme Court decisions where it’s obvious who says yes and who says no, justices still might each file their own reason why they think so.
And of course, like you said, people like to shoot their mouths off. So there’s that.
