apparently there is a gemara, I’m not sure where though:), that says that if a person drinks something that has been throffed, it’s a segula to have parnassa issues chas veshalom… the reason is because if you throff the drink it looks like more but it’s really an illusion cause it’s been throffed up..
Does anyone know where the source is for this and where it’s located and if it’s really true.. cause now I’m concerned about drinking milkshakes 🙁

I don’t know what the word “throff” means but I feel like the Gemara you are referring to is in the 10th Perek of Pesachim, but I just looked and coudln’t find it. I think it shows up more than once though. If I find it I’ll come back here and mention it.

popa_bar_abba: it could be froth, but I have always known it as throf for some reason or other…
anyway, could anyone tell me the source for this???
