I would like to call upon all the religious Jews who have chosen to remain in Shmutz La’aretz to arise and ascend upright to our land!

If 100s of thousands ascend we can create a massive united Torah voting block and change the country and create a true Jewish State!

Kol Dodi Dofek and I wonder how much longer masses of Torah Jewry will ignore it?

A Jewish State before Moshiach is forbidden according to Torah Law.

And how does one propose to get rid of the zionists and the goyim (especially the non-Arab ones)? Are you suggest we should take up guns and start shooting them? They aren’t going to go peacefully. They’ve been struggling for over a century to create a homeland where Jews can live free from (as they see it) the twin evils of anti-semitism and Torah. They aren’t going to quit now.

Try creating a united Torah bloc as is first then we’ll talk.

Have no fear. In “Our land”, you (and we) are considered non religious anyway.

Avhaben: Citing a 614th Mitzvah is a violation of Bal Tosif D’oraisa.

yosh- the two earlier postings show you why moshiach has not come yet…the disunity of frum jews!

I, on the contrary, agree with you wholeheartedly!

All you need to do is ask your Rav and if he says you should go then you should go and if he says that you should then you should stay. It should be this simple.

Sam: The gemorah wasn’t violating bal tosif when it mentioned that issur.

YosHChayal – Ah, more Zionist fantasy. Try making one big Torah party to make e/o keep the Torah and watch how all the other parties turn into one to combat this.

How about all Frum Jews leaving Israel and letting Hashem do the rest? It won’t be too long before he sends Moshiach after that.

avhaben: You said “Torah Law”. Had you said “the Shalosha Shevuos” or “due to the Issur of breaking a Shevuah”, then you would (possibly) be correct. You just didn’t explain yourself well.

YosHChayal – B’ezrat Hashem this coming year I too will be studying Torah in the center of the Universe.

avhaben – presumably since you are bringing the Shalosha Shevuos into this, then you no doubt agree that this doesn’t overrule Ketubot 110b (that one should ALWAYS live in Eretz Yisrael).

Even if you’re against the medinah, despite it’s funding for Torah study and pikuach nefesh for millions of yidden, that still is no excuse for not fulfilling the mitzvah of living in Eretz Yisrael.

C”S to make a state before the coming of Moshiach. I think I will just stay put here in C”L until Moshiach comes.

I imagine that this was the same response that Ezra received when he sent invitations to the communities of Western Europe.

On the contrary, it is a Tora obbligation to establish a Jewish state in EY (Ramban Sefer HaMitzvot). This is the definition of yamot haMashiach (Rambam Hilchot Melachim 12:2). As for the Shalosh Shevuot, they are aggadata not halacha (see Rambam “Letter to Yemen”) and are ignored by all of the codes. Even if they were one binding they are no longer either because they were only for 1,000 years (Rav Chaim Vital) or because the Goyim gave permission at the San Remo Conference (Rav Meir Simcha) or because they violated their oath not to persecute us too much on several occasions (Shir HaShirim Rabba 2[7]:1).
