Is it ever possible for Tisha B’Av to fall out on Shabbos. I always learned that it never does. When Yom Kippur falls out on Shabbos, we fast, however if any other fast day falls out on Shabbos, we move it to Sunday. But I learned that with Tisha B’Av, there is no question because it’s impossible to occur on Shabbos. Is this true?
I’m just asking because I just heard a story where in that situation it seems like it did come out on Shabbos.
Yes it can be on shabbos, happens very often but its delayed to sunday.
