I’m in s l o w mode now (and it seems like ever since). I need threads that don’t take up too much brain-power to read. (gosh, what do the lungs have to do with the brain?)

Anyone care to share (debate, argue, quarrel..),the important issues of the day with me, s-l-o-w-l-y? (slow as a..frog)

Do you stir your tea clockwise or otherwise?

How to fold a tissue to get be able to get the most out of it?

I stir my tea both ways. That’s why I leave my cup only half full, otherwise it might spill.

    How about a story!

Once there were a family of 3 bears, totty bear, mommy bear, and baby bear, mommy bear had made the cholent but it was too hot to eat so they decided to take a walk while it cooled off, meanwhile a girl with light colored hair came by her name was Goldie Lox she was tired and cold and wanted a place to rest she went into the bungalow and saw three heaping bowls of cholent she said the brocho tried the first one but it was too hot, she tried the second one but it was to cold, she tried the third one and it was just right ahhh geshmak she said just the way i like it and ate the whole thing and then said the brocho achrona, after a huge bowl of cholent she was really sleepy she went upstairs and tried the first bed and it was too hard, she tried the second bed and it was too soft she tried the third bed and it was just perfect and she went shluffen.

Meanwhile the 3 bears came home from their walk and totty bear said someone has tasted my cholent, mommy bear said someone has tasted my cholent too, baby bear said someone tasted mine too and they ate it all up! mommy bear gave baby bear half of her cholent they ate it and then decided to go take a rest, totty bear someone has been in my bed. mommy bear said someone has been in my bed too, baby bear said someone has been in my bed too and they are still there!

Mommy bear gently woke up goldie who was startled to see three bears looking down at her she was afraid, totty bear said oh how lucky we are that we have a guest to perfom hachnochas orchim for.

    The End.

@Goq – With cholent, I’d think Goldie “Lox” would be concerned with the done-ness of the beans. 😛

She shouldn’t have made brochos on something that did not belong to her. (maybe I’m mistaken)

I like your story. Exactly to my speed. (Is it true?)

I wash them and hang them up, we’re into recycling (going green). I don’t think there are enough trees if I didn’t…

LAB, no, it gets more complicated here. Because of David’s hamelech’s shaalo of ????? ???? ????? ?????, it be permitted to eat. But maybe still not permitted to make a brocho.

I don’t see how ????? ???? ????? ????? applies here. Unless you think he wanted actual water from the ???.

Here? Here we’re talking about how Goldie Lox was on the point of starvation and she chanced upon a warm dish of life giving cholent. That was David Hamelech’s shaalo conveyed to sanhedrin (if I’m not mistaken)

The Goq, you actually stole my thunder. That is PRECISELY how I tell over the story to my grandchildren, because I don’t like scary fairytales. In my version, I also have Goldy Lox ask the bears and her mommy to forgive her for a) not listening to mommy, and b)taking things without permission. I have been knonw to tell my older grandchildren that she also did something bad to go eat something without first knowing if it was kosher. I’m just sayin’…
