Out of the crazes, which ones do you remember that were your favorite or actually made sense? Tomagatchi, Ty beanies, yo-yo’s etc.

To rightwriter: You write wrong. Fads are trendy by definition. Your title for this thread is redundant and repetitious. Now, back to my hula hoop.

Participant- “yo-yos were good and made sense
    plus string candy”

    – especially since you could “walk the dog” and go “around the world” without even leaving the comfort or discomfort of your own home.

String candy? Nothing beats candy buttons, yes the ones where you end up ingesting more paper than candy as you rip them off.

    Some of my favorites:
    Jacks
    Chinese jump rope
T shirts with your name on it and iron on transfers
    Sticker collections
    Bop it
    Rubiks cube spin offs

@coffee, pogs were so frustrating! Aside for collecting the plastic shiny pog, I was never able to flip any. Im glad those things are gone. I dont think magic cards ever picked up as a “trendy fad” outbreak.

Beanie Babies were great, you now have Funko Pop which are pretty neat but definitely a waste of money for those who have hundreds of them at like $12 a pop. Good luck collecting them all when they release 5 new ones a day on average.

These things don’t make any sense.

Trump makes dollars and sense with it to make things work out
Biden doesn’t even make any sense not even pennies just costing money with billions of inflation and almost trillions already probably.

Believing at first that Reb Yosef was a serious poster whose life was dedicated to educating the CR tzibur about all the chumrahs that would support his misogynistic world view, eliciting outraged responses from gullible souls such as myself and ultimately realizing he was a highly talented trollster who was able to construct deceptively simple arguments that generally had some basis in daas torah while flouting the sensibilities and tearing the heartstrings of an increasingly “woke” readership.
P.S. Investing in bitcoin years ago well below 10,000 but getting out way too early when the covid-driven day-trading millenials sitting at home for 2 years drove it up to 60,000+

What does trump or Biden have to do with Funko pop and Pokemon cards? Give it a rest, wow people are just consumed by politics as if it’s their favorite baseball team.

I learned how to bind a yoyo in 6th grade. and 3 or 4 basic tricks…
I started Yoyoing seriously again over Corona bein hasdorim. i learned a few other tricks aside from walk the dog…
a decent A1 Yoyo (unresponsive) costs about $50 and the tricks you can learn are kinda entertaining.

    @DovidBT
    :
which two? upgrading to what? What’s the hardest trick you know? you do counterweights? two yoyos at a time?
i never meet someone who actually continued Yoyoing after 6th grade 🙂
Rock Skipping is still really cool if you get the angle right…
