I may be a troll but the biggest trolls are the trolls calling out everyone else as trolls.

commonsaychel is the Official CR Troll Buster. His word is first, last and final.

Everyone is considered a troll until, and unless, commonsaychel gives a hechsher certifying you are not a troll.

chazal bring down that it is mutar to virtually “neutralize” an online troll without waiting for a din torah from a reputable vaad. Waiting to see if a particular troll has gotten a plumba from CS may not always be a realistic option.

Ujm, if that were true, he wouldn’t have to call out trolls multiple times a day. He would just certify non trolls, and all else would be trolls by default

Avira, I’ve long ago suggested to him that he do exactly that.

I am flattered by all this attention, and the best part is that @tunaisafish and Menachemfivenbirmbaum came out of the closet and admitted they are trolls, nice start!

What’s the difference between a troll and just starting a controversial discussion because its interesting? I mean if every attempt to discuss controversial things is trolling then not trolling would make the Coffee Room very boring.

Marxist, non-trolls have always been the most dull, boring people ever.

“if every attempt to discuss controversial things is trolling then not trolling would make the Coffee Room very boring….

Nothing wrong with good trolling…the problem is that we have several really good trollers but multiple schvach trollers. What makes a good troll is that it comes across as something the poster may truly believe about a controversial topic, is prepared to offer substantive and credible arguments in support of his/her position and is likely to offend a large percentage of readers

honestly i understand bochurim ‘trolls’ on the cr cause there bochurim but married men with a job and kids hanging outon the cr? I think id rather be classified by common saychel a troll then be a bored father of 3 plumber wasting my time calling out trolls on a Forum updated every several hours.

common saychel is one of the more skilled and articulate trollers but lessens his credibility as a troll by frequently engaging in factual, substantive and most importantly “reasonable” debate positions. Its hard to be considered as an OTD CR poster when you also provide frequent flashes of brilliance

    OTD CR poster? what?

Mod, you decide whether this should be a public or private post.

I noticed on Russia-related front page posts several posters provide in-your-face pro-Russian defences are posting 1st or 2nd time and were registered recently. This is a classic example of Russian paid activists that are active on web and social media all over the world. I wonder whether you or your provider provides any screening for such things (repeated IP and other simanim) to make your life easier. Possibly, you already rejected 1,000 of them and we see only a couple.

If this stays private, I’ll send specific links

If you send names we’ll delete them if they show up on this side
