GOP voters in Georgia have rejected Trump and his lies. Good and honest Republicans crushed their Trump backed challengers. Kemp and Raafspenberger have shown that moral conservatism can still win. The Georgia results are a great night for the future of the GOP and for this country. Hopefully this hails the begining of the collapse of MAGA madness and the demise of the cult of Trump.

Don’t bet on it. He likes being in the news more than anything else.

And Georgia rejected the lies of Biden, Stacey Abrams, CNN, MSNBC et al. As you recall, they claimed that Georgia’s new voting law requiring voter ID was discriminatory, racist , Jim Crow on steroids and designed to restrict voting. The Republicans said the law was designed to make it more difficult to cheat while making it easier overall to vote. Early indications are that over 800,00 votes were cast in early voting as opposed to 368,000 in the 2018 primary.
As a side thought, I’ve often felt that the only thing racist about voter ID is the Democratic belief that people of color somehow lack the intelligence to get an ID . Interviews with average black Americans express resentment at the thought that either they can’t use a computer or find their local DMV to get an ID .
TSA at airport screening, even notary publics requirs a photo ID and noone seems to have a problem providing one.

Also in Nebraska (where his endorsed sexual abuser candidate lost big) and possibly Pennsylvania where Dr. Oy’s microscopic lead seems to be further dwindling. He generally endorses candidates literally running unopposed or with marginal opposition (like with Herschel Walker) or waits to the 11th hour to see who the polls show is the likely winner.
I’m not celebrating Georgia only in the sense that Kemp et. al. are about as far-right as you can go without falling off the cliff.

P.S. Anon Jew is 100 percent correct that Dems seem to be tone deaf regarding voter photo ID. They’ve probably spent more money litigating a common sense issue than it would take to send an uber to drive every voter lacking such an ID to the local DMV or government office to get a license or state-issued ID card. Incredibly stupid and losing issue for the Dems.

Trump is doing excellent in the frequency his candidates are winning both the primaries and general elections. No one expected a 100% success rate but his not too far behind 100.

UJM is correct numerically but really need to focus on which endorsements have really changed what otherwise would have been the outcome. His more recent endorsements seem to be driven more by ego and revenge and less on principle. In Georgia, the two winning candidates that defeated Trump endorse candidates had incredibly strong conservative credentials and a record of performance (other than bowing to Trump’s election steal BS). Voters recognized that and ignored Trump. His senate endorsed candidate (a former Georgia college and NFL football legend had incredibly strong sentimental support and no serious opposition) was an easy call but may have a real fight in November.

There is nothing Conservative about bowing to Trump.

And the election nonsense is terrible for everyone. Trump is turning ameracin politics into tribal corruption.

Trump-backed candidates lost against incumbents but won where there were none. Based on interviews I heard, people voted for Kemp because they know him and believe he can beat Abrams, but still declared they loved Trump. Amusing to find such hatred for Trump even here.

    Dear Moshe,

Where does hatred come in? It sounds the same as playing the race card.

” Trump is turning ameracin politics into tribal corruption.”

Oh thanks for the comic relief. Trump lives on in people who hate him but you still call him out. Cute.

“Amusing to find such hatred for Trump even here.”

Yes, odd. But honestly they sound bigger than they are because everyone else has learned that there is no point in responding. They aren’t listening, and based on some of the last posts they aren’t even accurately reading what they are reporting. I was hoping they’d burn themselves out and find something else to talk about but it seems that every time Biden destroys something, they find a need to rant about trump again.

    Dear Syag,

Please point to the Trump hate on this thread.

Meanwhile, President Biden has admirable 50% success rate of his endorsements in these primaries. If could have gotten one more, this would be 100%!!

He might have endorsed more, but somehow they were not answering phone, and he does not tweet.

To coffee addict: Yes, Marjorie Taylor Green won. Anti-semitism is always popular and has been around longer than Trump.

Green’s calling card isn’t antisemitism. The Democrat Party is the home of modern antisemitism.

Maybe you missed the word tribal, as in African tribes. I did not mean partisanship. Otherwise, I’m missing your post.

MTG is generally dumbi but has learned to strategically invoke racist and sometimes anti-semitic tropes to solidify her connection with the hard core right.

I wonder why anyone thought that Republicans would ever vote for an accented Turkish immigrant with a Muslim name.

I would bet democrats think that to be true, but the reality is that that’s just an ignorant falsehood. If he’s not safe for jews I don’t care what his name is. If he is safe, I don’t care what his name is. But carry on, the echo chamber seems to still be open for business.

clarifying Biden’s influence based on ballotpedia:
he endorsed 2 primary candidates, one of them just conceded
    in 2020, he endorsed
    8 senators (50% won), 33 reps (7 or 21% won), 3 governors (1 won), state reps (1 out of 5),
he endorsed more in 2018, I am not going to count

    Trump:
in these primaries senator (6 out of 6, 10 pending), house looks like 100 total (half won, half pending, 1 removed) , governor (3 out of 6, rest listed pending),

Mod, please rename this thread to “Trumpism won in Amerika, Bidenism does not exist”

Trumpism lost in 2020 and will lose again in 2024, if he is not indicted in the interim.

    Gadol,
it is always a suspicious sign when someone articulates his beliefs rather than brings arguments.

Do you think that Dems will have a different candidate than Biden? I think that if he is healthy and in his marbles, he will be running. Maybe Bernie or some of his younger copy will primary him. I don’t see how Biden can win re-match now when everyone saw him in action. If you know someone who voted for Trump before and will now vote for Biden, please do speak up.
