Hi, I have just two days to spend running around up north of EY. Whats ONE THING you think I should do?
Please help me and add 1 place or idea, that no one else wrote yet in the thread.
Thank you!August 14, 2017 10:43 am at 10:43 am #1338257

Why the need for fun / boat rides in Eretz HaKodesh. That isn’t what Eretz Yisroel is about. You can do all that in Chutz La’aretz.August 14, 2017 1:16 pm at 1:16 pm #1338340YeastonParticipant
Kever of Nachum Ish Gamzu in Tzfat (i assume that you will go the old cemetery to Ari, ReMaK, etc)August 14, 2017 1:21 pm at 1:21 pm #1338358147Participant
Clearly you don’t have time to go everywhere, so just focus on Tzefas:- Artist colony & the famous cemetery adjacent to the Artist colony.August 14, 2017 3:55 pm at 3:55 pm #1338575
Thanks, but Tzfas doesnt take two days!August 14, 2017 7:11 pm at 7:11 pm #1338951
I once did jeeping up north and we went thru fields of the שבעת המינים and we rode along the ירדן so we got to really feel EY in a fun way!August 14, 2017 7:11 pm at 7:11 pm #1338863TzefasYidParticipant
When u go to Meiron – go to Hillel Hazaken kever as well (its a 3 min walk from Rashbi). Also – on the way to Amuka stop at the army base and go to Rava and Abeye kever. In Teveria you have the hot springs. Ive seen flyers that they now have special hours after midnight for chareidim twice a week.
Park HaYarden is wonderful for children to experience and swim in the Jordan river.August 14, 2017 7:11 pm at 7:11 pm #1338847PinchasParticipant
Tzfas doesn’t take two days? You’re kidding, right?
You can spend 2 months in Tzfas and still not see everything!
Ashkenazi Ha Ari
Shem V Ever
House of Love and Prayer
Other Places to Visit:
Torah Gems Bookstore
The Khan of the White Donkey
Cave Of Shem And Ever
Kikar HaMeginim Central Square of Tzfat
The Ari Mikve
Old Tzfat Winery
Artist Quarter of Safed
And that’s beside museums and galleries. Honestly, there are so many tzadikim in the Tzafas Cemetery you could easily spend way over 2 days there… if you wanted to.
But my recommendation for up north is to visit the Banyas… truly one of the most beautiful spots in Eretz Yisrael and the world! Enjoy!August 15, 2017 9:04 am at 9:04 am #1339253
Thank you Pinchas! Thats very very helpful and I”ll keep it with me on my trip!
Any other ideas around the north for adults? (no kids coming this time).
