Is it just me, or is anyone else appalled by the model of dress in the East 20’s and mostly East 30’s in Brooklyn? I was shocked to pass a popular large shul near Nostrand and Ave L on Yom Tov when I saw the you g women dressed more like they belonged on a certain notorious street in Manhattan, than going to Shul! The tight, short skirts with the 5-inch spike heels and tight tops were out of control yet seemingly the norm! I wondered how on earth the well-known And respected Rov of that Shul does not take this on and speak to his Keillor, especially these women’s husbands about this situation!
