    There’s this expression going on more and more frequently that’s increasingly grating on my nerves. You comment that you learned something–a song, a DIY hack, doesn’t matter what–and your interlocutor comments “uh a talmid.” “a talmid shoin” or some variation thereof.

    Stupid.
