soldiers need to get paid. Did you know the ukranian side casualty families( gold stars) get paid like 410k why dont fallen israeli soldiers get paid. Where is the funds for that ?
American foreign aid is for weapons. Recipients are normally expected to pay their own military wages.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Russia is actively involved in supporting the people attacking Israel. Eretz Yisrael is a front in a war that includes Ukraine, and threatens to expand to all of Eastern Europe, Taiwan, the Philippines and Korea.
Those who say they support Israel but not Ukraine, or the reverse, are similar to someone who says they support a baseball team but only the players on the left side of the infield, but definitely not the first baseman or the relief pitchers. War is a “team sport”, and our team (speaking as an American) includes Israel, Ukraine, NATO, Taiwan, Philippines, South Korea and Japan. The other team consists of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.
The only difference between war and baseball, is that if one team is really good, the other team loses interest in playing, and unfortunately Joe Biden and the Congresses (meaning, for all purposes both parties) are too distracted to get our team ready for the next season, which could be disastrous.
You are a sick kofoi tov. Biden has taken a strong stand in support of Israel despite it costing him support among his base. The progressive base of the Democratic party is up in arms over his resolute support for Israel. Congressional staffers have sent letters of protest over his pro-Israel stance. DNC members have threatened to resign, and his poll numbers among Democrats have sunk because of his unabashed support of Israel. Biden can very likely lose a swing state like Michigan because of his loss of Arab and Muslim support. Your comments are grotesque and show how partisan politics has infected and polluted your mind.

I agree. I don’t think many people disagree, despite Chinese/Russian propaganda trying to exploit all friction points.
One unfortunate thing is that Israel waited until being attacked to take the stand … whatever their realpolitik considerations were ..

That is true. Still, he has an unfortunate record so far of following some complicated theories that are not supported by facts, trying to balance a fight of evil with liberal fantasies, leading to ineffective policies. Afghanistan .. slow flow of weapons to Ukraine .. are there indeed any military/foreign policy successes by Obana/Biden people? Reset w/ Russia. Agreement w/ Iran. “80s are calling back”. Disagreements with Israel and Saudis … Maybe I forgot some, please remind me.
Again, this does not exclude gratitude for Biden’s declared pro-Israel position (balanced by leaked articles that he is pressuring Israel to stop military action in private)
