yeah – but that had nothing to do with me. what? you have a quota of apologies and then no more?
now that you answered me on this thread, have you checked back at the other thread – ya know – the one where you said we’re back to our feud?December 27, 2011 7:06 am at 7:06 am #1044959rainbow spyMember

Can we talk about donuts in Israel lekovod rosh chodesh?
My favorite is for sure the milchig carmel ones from avichayil; they are just 3.5 shekels and easily beat all competition…November 20, 2014 11:30 pm at 11:30 pm #1044963ivoryMember

Chanukah is in 27 days!
LG, how’s the nail biting coming along?
SiDi™November 21, 2014 1:09 pm at 1:09 pm #1044969
I knew that sidi! For goodness sakes, I wasn’t being literal. Thanks for pointing that out, tho. 🙂
My nail biting is going great. My campaign to stop nail biting is not going all that great. In fact, I pretty much gave up on it. I need to relieve stress somehow, and if I don’t bite my nails, I yell at everyone around me and am a royal grump. Lol, I can’t deal with the withdrawal symptoms.
How’s it going for you?November 21, 2014 1:20 pm at 1:20 pm #1044970
(I posted that so I can ask you about the nail biting…)
I’m sorry to hear that you are having it so hard. There must be something else you can use to relieve stress. Why are you so stressed anyway?
I’m on Day 23 of my no-biting streak! It’s still hard but getting easier, B”H!November 21, 2014 1:49 pm at 1:49 pm #1044971
Wow, you’re amazing!!!!! Seriously, I am in awe of you.
BH, I’m not stressed over anything that major… Just midterms, a Dvar Torah that I hafta give to over a hundred people this shabbos, and an awkward shabbos ahead of me. Daven for me, k? Tefillos from an awesome person like you for sure arouses heavenly mercy, and I need lots of that this shabbos. I hate public speaking, and now I’m gonna hafta give over a five minute Dvar Torah…
Save me!!!November 21, 2014 1:58 pm at 1:58 pm #1044972
Just close your eyes and imagine your talking to your best friend! You’ll do great!
And belive me, I’m not so amazing…
SiDi™November 21, 2014 2:16 pm at 2:16 pm #1044973
I’ve been meaning to say this for a long time, but somehow never found the right time.
I have always thought of you as one of the most kind, thoughtful, eloquent, intelligent, and special people to post on the cr. You seem to always know the right thing to say, and your middos are so… Well, perfect.
All around, you’re an amazing person and so glad to have the opportunity to meet you (kinda) on the cr.
Have a good shabbos!November 23, 2014 9:23 pm at 9:23 pm #1044974
Wow! I am speechless!! I think you’re mixing me up with someone else. I am far from any of those!
How did Shabbos go?
SiDi™November 23, 2014 9:38 pm at 9:38 pm #1044975
My goodness, now I can add humble to the list too!
BH, my Dvar Torah went well. 🙂
But I bit my nails… I’m gong to start my no nail biting campaign again, b’ezras Hashem.November 23, 2014 11:39 pm at 11:39 pm #1044976
You are too funny!
I knew you would do well!
I wish I had a suggestion for the nail biting. I still have to fight with myself not to bite. I am not makpid not to peel them as long as I don’t bite… Maybe we should see Dr. Pickell (from The Wayside School) to help us with our addiction? I’m just worried about the side effects!!

I assume you’re not talking about Shabbos when you say that.November 24, 2014 7:31 am at 7:31 am #1044979
Yes, Randomex, that is what I meant. Later on I realized it didn’t sound right but I didn’t have Internet. Thanks again!
I try not to bite or peel my nails at all on Shabbos. Most of the time, I’m successful…
SiDi™November 30, 2014 10:47 pm at 10:47 pm #1044980
After not biting my nails 32 days straight, today, day 33, I broke my streak! Not because of stress or anything. I just “needed” to bite… There goes that!
Should I start again?

You are forgetting that the whole point of this was to keep yourself from being mechalel Shabbos. If you have brought your nail biting to your consciousness, then you are still ahead!!!! Don’t you see, nothing is ever for nothing.December 1, 2014 1:14 pm at 1:14 pm #1044985
Syag, thanks for the chizuk!
