August 23, 2012 2:28 am at 2:28 am #892471EnglishmanMemberThe chap probably went overseas on a vacation and left no contact instructions.
August 23, 2012 2:34 am at 2:34 am #892472Ðash®ParticipantIt means that the code that added links to all users is buggy.
August 23, 2012 3:07 am at 3:07 am #892473OneOfManyParticipantEnglishman: You mean holiday, don’t you?
August 23, 2012 3:25 am at 3:25 am #892474Imma613ParticipantYeah I was wondering the same thing. Have people figured out a way to mask their profiles?
August 23, 2012 3:54 am at 3:54 am #892475TheGoqParticipantOOM that was funny thank you!

August 23, 2012 7:40 pm at 7:40 pm #892479SayIDidIt™ParticipantSee moskidoodle’s thread, We all have links….
Basically, if a member has a space in there SN (ex. The Goq) the link has a %20 in place of the space (The%20Goq) but there should really be a – instead (The-Goq). Or, there are some members who changed there SN (***GASP*** How’d they do that?!!) and the link shows there current SN but the correct link should be there old SN, so the link doesn’t work. Got that???
The Goq™: In your case, you have both. As I showed above with the space, and you had ™ added to your SN. You can try to ask a mod to fix your link for you…
August 23, 2012 8:37 pm at 8:37 pm #892480TheGoqParticipantWhen you click on the op’s name in the thread below it comes back as user not known, i’m not singling that person out i have clicked on other names and have gotten that same response.
August 23, 2012 8:46 pm at 8:46 pm #892481Ðash®Participant[a href="http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/profile/TheGoq"][/a][/a]
What it appears the coder did was take the existing display name, build a URL out of it and wrap it around whatever existing display name/URL was already there. I’m not sure if nesting “A” tags is valid when I tried to validate a YWN page There were too many other errors, but they used a different algorythm to generate the URLs than they used to crate the profile page, in addition to basing it on a different piece of data.
Mods: The CODE tag is broken, it isn’t letting me enter HTML code without parsing it.
