Anyone have an idea how to get vaseline out of hair?

My 2 year old put vaseline in his hair this morning. I washed it 4X with 2 different shampoos. It didn’t come out. He got another bath now, the vaseline is not coming out!

try vinegar or alcohol (I can’t remember which). Just be very careful not to get it in his eyes.

Upshearin is just a year away. That should do it.

PS The vaseline is still in his hair, he had another bath tonight. It’s around 50% better. The goal is that by Pesach his hair shouldn’t have the ‘gelled look’. His hair is curly and blonde, he looks like we did a ‘wet look do’ for him.

Then to get the peanut butter out, use vaseline.

No, I heard that peanut butter and then soap removes other stubborn things regular detergents don’t. Maybe it’s worth a try.

Toddler got another bath this morning. His hair is 75% better. I’m glad I didn’t have to resort to peanut butter, or vinegar. Now he just looks, like someone put too much hairspray or mousse into his hair. Not so ‘gelled look’ anymore.
