Rashi in the beginning of Parashas Vaychi asks, why is this parsheh closed? (nine letter separation in between two parshiyos) Answers Rashi, because the Torah wants to symbolize that this was the beginning of the suffering and enslavement of the Jews. Their breath was started to be taken away by closing their breathing passages. It says that they couldn’t listen to Moishe, because of their shortness of breath and hard labor. Another answer is given by Rashi, that it symbolizes the closing off the revealing of the end, the coming of the Meshiach, which Yaakov Avinu was curtailed from disclosing.
The problem is that, neither of these answers satisfies the question. It does not answer why especially there is no pause after parashas Vayigash. Depending on the above answers this lack of pause should have been delineated, either in the beginning of Parashas Shmos, or before the blessings to his sons, respectively.
The Kli Yokor at the end of parashas Vayigash explains that, the reason for the suffering and enslavement was because the Jews forgot an important lesson that must be remembered in diaspora. We must constantly keep in mind that we are strangers in a strange land. Moishe Rabbenu constantly kept this in mind, and therefore the G-d of his father was constantly helping him. This was the lesson that Moshe Rabbeinu wanted to teach us through the naming of his children. The Jews wanted to become part of the Egyptian establishment. They forgot that they came to Egypt just as a temporary dweller, who is fleeing his problems temporarily by escaping to a strange land. They became rich and acquired land. They built on it fancy houses which the Egyptians resented.
The Kli Yokor in parashas Devorim explains, that when we are in diaspora among the descendants of Eisov and Yishmoel, we must keep ourselves inconspicuous. They resent the fact that we got the blessing from Yaakov and Yitzchok, which causes envy and hate. They will do everything possible to take our wealth away. They will put us into labor camps to weaken us, and if that doesn’t work, G-d forbid, annihilate us.
This envy and resentment happened in Egypt. When the Egyptian saw how the Jews are getting wealthier and stronger, they became envious and the resentment grew.
The Kli Yokor also explains in the beginning of parashas Vaychi that the reason that G-d curtailed Yaakov Avinu the revealing of the end, was because, if people know that the coming of the Meshiach will not be in their life time they will give their hope up (meyaesh). They will forget the lesson from above and that they are in diaspora. They will build fancy houses etc. This will hold back the redemption. The redemption can only come if we keep in mind that we are in diaspora and we require the help of G-d to redeem us and no one else can do that.
Therefore, the disclosing of the end was impossible. The Jews behaved in like manner without revealing the end. The revealing would have caused the viscous cycle which would have held back the redemption. Therefore, everything is symbolized at the end of parashas Vayigash.

In order for a person to be answered by hashem for something s/he needs the persons needs to do more then just sit and daven or say tehillim, anyone can do that. A person needs to also YEARN for it be it for a shidduch or parnassah or for children etc….

Sadly in today’s generation were not YEARNING for the coming of Mashiach and rebuilding of the 3rd bias Hamikdosh. If klal yisroel was honestly YEARNING for Mashiach then on a day like tisha bav set aside for mourning the destruction of the bais Hamikdosh we wouldn’t be looking at our clocks so we can eat and go back up from sitting on the floor. For god’s sake the person would say ill fast a full extra day all I beg Hashem is to please send Mashiach and rebuild the bais Hamikdosh….

May we all wake up and do teshuva ASAP and start YEARNING for the Bais Hamikdosh so Mashiach can come already

When we become too comfortable in galus, the goyim become jealous of us and end up ch’v chasing us out. The holocaust was an effect of their jealousy as above. The Germans ym’s learned their behavior from Mitzraim. See the Meshech Chachma in Parashas Bechukosai on Veaf Gam Zos in great detail.

Nust to clarify what you said at #2039799

This us only as Musser for us. But never any slightest rationamization for the evil doers.

Even if “successful” Jews pre war would constitute even at 5% of its population which was never the case….

And many nations that arouse jealousy were never subject to such inhumane atrocities.

Holy Am Yisroel is always innocent as a tzibur.

When people really do well, they don’t need to show off. The Rashbam explains that Yaakov Avinu told his sons, don’t make it look like you have when you don’t have.

The Kli Yakar explains that we should always see ourselves, in order not to be assimilated, as haboim, we are just coming now to Mitzraim.

With the tumah of internet and many other technology tumahs that we are living with in today’s generation how can we ever hope to get out of today’s mitzrayim so we can be freed for the coming of Mashiach and the rebuilding of the bias Hamikdosh?

Are we even at least working on getting ourselves out of this golus mitzrayim of today’s generation? If yes how and what are we doing about it? If not then what are we waiting for and we just expect Mashiach to come out of no where? Ever heard of Hishtadlus? Lets ask ourselves HONESTLY are we really yearning for the coming of Mashiach or is it vice versa and were really so happy today cause Hashem gave us everything boruch Hashem from cars to planes to computers to even the beautiful gift of Shabbos a day of rest.

May we all start yearning for Mashiach ASAP and do our hishtadlus to be deserving of Mashiach to come immediately

Chazal say אין יום שאין קללתו מרובה מחבירו that every day is worse than the previous day when at the time at עקבתא דמשיחא, Meshiach’s time. The Kli Yakar on uforatzto explains that Meshiach will come when we reach the lowest level realizing that the only thing we can rely on is our Father in Heaven. According to this the lower we get, the better it is.
