Is vayse zukken only worn by the Rebbe or by all Chasidim? What is the chashivus of it compared to shvartze zukken?
ok and zukken is?
All chasidim have beards. They get whiter as they grow older.
Lol 42.
Goq, zukken are socks.
They are worn by Chassidim as well as the Rebbe. Bochurim don’t wear vayse, only shwartze. Those that wear zukken all week wear shwartze on weekdays. Belzer Chassidim wear shwartze on Shabbos and vayse only on Yom Tov, at a child’s chasuna, and a chosson at his own chasuna.. The Belzer Rebbe wears vayse on Shabbos.
Do chassidim who don’t wear zukken go barefoot?
No. They wear shoes.
Is the white to symbolize purity and holiness?
What is the chashivus of it compared to shvartze zukken?
White used to be a sign of affluence because it was expensive to keep them clean.
I have vayse sweat zukken, but I don’t wear them on Shabbat. Does that count?
