Please Please Please say a kapital tehillim! This is serious! Hamas is getting desperate and is firing wildly into E”Y rocket after rocket.I can’t imagine how frightening our brothers and sisters are huddled in their bunkers right now. Lt’s daven for them!
I’m afraid that I’m worried more about the inevitable condemnations against Israel when this is over than the rockets, which usually misfire and end up in a field.
Also, “Cloud Pillar” sounds weird, can’t we all just call it by it’s real name, “Amud Ha’Anan”?
Baruch Hashem there isn’t much “huddling in bunkers.” Large institutions have moved north temporarily and some reserves have been called up but there hasn’t been a ground invasion yet. The Airforce has taken out the long range rocket batteries and God-willing this will be over soon.
The IDF is calling it “Operation Pillar of Defense” as per their Twitter account.

Don’t know where you got your information, but yes, there are thousands of people huddling in bunkers. Schools within 40 km of the Gaza border are closed. People with shelters or reinforced rooms have been told to sleep in them.
God willing, it won’t be over soon – it will be over when the IDF finishes the job.

This is what happens when you don’t make Histadlus. There was a reason why Hashem gave them Gaza and the West Bank in the first place. Hashem gave them this to be a buffer against the Arabs. I doubt you can even find one Shitta that says you can just pull out without even a promise of something in Return. They are Kofey Tova against Hashem.

Rav Amnon is a Yemenite baal Teshuva who is massively successful in Kiruv however he is an extremist and has some very extreme shittos about certain things. This is not the type of thing anyone can be taken seriously about. Any time anyone says unequivocally that THIS IS THE REASON ___________ happened w/o saying that it could be a possible reason, they cant be taken seriously. Nobody knows and nobody can know.
