looking to buy new washer / dryer . Anyone want to recommend theirs?
Also whats better top load or front load ???

The top loaders are very basic and simple to use. I have a new, expensive front loader, I am not thrilled with it. My parents have an old Maytag top loader, honestly, they dont make ’em the way they used to. I love my parents simple, easy to use, but super machine.
April 28, 2010 1:38 am at 1:38 am #683793sms007Memberi just got a frigidaire front loader and I absolutely love it!They do clean better, and are more efficient- just make sure if you buy one to take out the shipping bolts! without that, your machine will jump around like crazy- and don’t assume the plumber or delivery man will take them out!

And btw, they’re nicer too in case that’s also taken into consideration!

The problem is that if you need service all the parts are extremely expensive! I just had a repair guy a few weeks ago and he said unless you must have these huge machines he doesn’t recommend them because the parts and labor are so expensive.
