What happens if we talk to “Microsoft” and “Nigerian Princes” as if we’re about to take the bait, and then try to scam them?
I really enjoy doing that – I know exactly what you mean.
There’s a TED Talk given by a guy who played along with one of these e-mail scammers. It’s quite entertaining.
When the “Microsoft Tech Support” guy calls I follow his instructions. After a few minutes I say that I am still waiting for the Apple logo to disappear.
