Rest in peace Leiby, the pain that we feel at your loss is tremendous and heartbreaking but it cannot compare to what your dear parents must be going through, yours was a pure neshamah now returned to Hakodesh Boruch Hu, let us remember the unity that his disappearance caused and let us strive to keep that unity in his memory.

My family and i were checking YWN all day yesterday hoping for good news. He was in our tefilos. This morning, the first thing i did was check ywn and was so shocked!
We did not know Leiby or his family but feel this loss terribly!

Hashem has pity on us, He has more pity than we can imagine in a Trillion years. Lets stop blaming Hashem for every darned thing!!!! If we acted as we should and stopped harboring and covering up for abusers and molesters this wouldn’t happen.
BDE, our dear Leiby, we can’t even imagine what you have suffered in your young life. We have no idea what was done to you, or for how long. There are good people in this world and there are terrible people in this world. We all have bechira and unfortunately not everyone chooses appropriately. You are with angels and tzadikim now because you yourself are a tzadik and too pure and innocent to live in this shmutzik world. Please daven for your family and look out for them. I promise you that you will be remembered and you will be missed and your petirah will not be in vane.

aries – you’re right. he was too great to live in this world filled with such filth. Chanoch was taken away from this world early and did not complete his days since he was such a Tzaddik and Ha-Shem did not want him to turn his heart away from Ha-Shem so Ha-Shem took him out of this world to protect him.
Leibby, Ha-Shem took you away from us, away from this world, to protect you. He wanted you to return to him a Tzaddik (not that you wouldn’t have been a Tzaddik if you would have lived longer). Your pure little neshoma belongs in Shamayim with Ha-Shem and the Malachim – not down here with us.
May his neshama have an aliya
