I chose a password for yeshiva world and it told me “very weak” and I had to confirm use of a weak password. I use the same password for gmail and it told me it was strong. Queer!
Judaism, which YWN follows, has higher standards than the secular world.
“Queer!” is an awful password.
WELL LET THIS BE A LESSON FOR YOU. YOU NEED STRONGER PASSWORDS. BOTH HERE AND GMAIL.
You should never use the same password for more than one site. If one gets hacked, everything else will be compromised too. Use a password manager to generate and remember different random very long multi-symbol passwords for each site.
there are different ways of rating passwords
so what was that password?
“Use a password manager to generate and remember different random very long multi-symbol passwords for each site.”
Is that a joke? That’s first of all. Second of all, what if the password manager gets hacked??? BOOM. Colorado.
Wow. That’s a pretty powerful lesson. Thanks.
