I’m going to see my new grandson, born to my daughter and son-in-law, just a few days after my little girl was born to my “adopted” daughter and son-in-law. And then I am going to see my little girl. Now I have one of each b”h to pamper and spoil and no matter what I find while I shop, it will be good for either my new baby girl, or my new baby boy.

B”H, both mothers are doing well as both babies are. And the big brother is thrilled to have a brother. The sisters are just thrilled to have a baby.

To everyone else, you’re all so….constructive! I was looking for fun things to do,not organizing, but whatever…the days just about done. We went to the park…maybe we will try to plan something more adventurous for tomorrow…

What are you all doing tomorrow, anyways….

    MAZEL TOV ARIES!!!!!! Much nachas.

I went to the cemetery with my husband and children, because my husband has yahrtzeit for his father O”H today. It is five years, and still feels like yesterday.

Then we came back, and my husband and I went to sit at a dock area not far from our neighborhood. It is extremely peaceful and beautiful there. Now I am just chillin’ in the CR.

estherhamalka – i guess where YOU are it’s a beautiful day. WE started out with thunderstorms and pouring rain. it was so dark out all day that it looked like night! now (7:00 pm) it’s finally not raining but still looks gloomy. so what did we do today? NOTHING – and love it. sometimes we all need a day to just do nothing. 🙂

Went to Bear Mountain State Park. It’s beautiful and it’s hard to believe it’s only like a half an hour drive away from Manhattan (sans traffic). Not sure what to do for Memorial Day though….

My husband ended up taking me out to a show last night, so I did do something other than feed the baby. (Of course I had to feed the baby during the show also, but it was nice to get out.)

I find it quite shocking, yet also quite humorous, that my post was deleted. Although, it really isn’t that important for everyone here to know what I did yesterday or what I’m doing today. So I’ll just forget about it. Enjoy the day.

you can check it out here. my kids are 4 and almost 2. the 4 year old liked all the jets and helicopters and stuff. we were on a guided tour, so we got to see more things than if you just go by yourself. we also didnt go above or below deck, because it was too hard with a double stroller, and also by the time we were done with the tour we were wiped. its actually really cool and interesing.

always here, both of my grandfathers served in the army in WWII, and whether i agree with these wars that we are involved in or not, they are risking their lives every day for MY freedom- how could i not say thank you? (i think my husband was a little taken aback when i started talking about the importance of memorial day with my 4 year old….)

my parents both worked @ the Brooklyn Navy Yard & married on Nov. 11, 1945. … (my father worked there for over 25 yrs.). even tho’ he was a civilian I always felt close to the Navy. I always try to thank our military service people, police & firefighters when I come in contact with them.

always – my mother also worked in the bklyn navy yard. i wonder if she knew your parents. my parents were married in may of 1947 or 1948 (oy – i’m embarrassed that i don’t remember) Anyway they were married QUITE A NUMBER OF YEARS before i came along – won’t say how many years – i don’t want anyone calculating my age. 😉

estherhamalka – yup the sun came out the next day and today our temps are in the 90’s!!! we experienced 4 seasons in one week here! ok – we didn’t have snow but it was cold enough.
