Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve been really able to post…
Hard to believe I started this thread just 3 months ago. So much has happened and changed since then it’s scary.
B”H I was able to reconnect with a teacher I was close with in high school and she was more than willing to speak to me about this. (Thanks to everyone here who prompted me to do that.) I was able to reassess my values and goals and to come to new resolutions and decisions. That, and an almost near medical nightmare (read: death) experience that is to identifying to post, prompted me to rethink my life and where I was headed. And to hesitatingly start dating again…
What I really logged in to the CR today was to let you all know that I B”H am engaged! Before everyone jumps down my back as to how I can do that to him, I did tell him that as of a few short weeks ago I did not want to get married and we spoke about it at length. Very much at length, so no need to worry.
Thanks again to everyone here for all your support. I’m not going to have much time to post in the next few months but when things calm down I will definitely be back 🙂 So consider this a good bye for now…
May we keep sharing good news!

I’m really not that old, and neither is my chosson (he’s actaully a few months younger than me). It seems like we are going to be growing up and maturing together 😉
May 28, 2014 2:22 am at 2:22 am #1017146PulsingFlowerMemberIn my opinion, that’s how all marriages should be. I am advocate for people getting married at age 16 and growing up with their spouse.
