Does anyone know what this new thing kids are saying- “six seeeeven”- is? is it kosher? And whats this new Nachas song “vav zayin” about?
December 8, 2025 12:47 pm at 12:47 pm #2483329HelloFriendsParticipantThe words “Six seven” are from a movie. (I don’t know the context of the movie.) Many kids have caught on to this phrase.
The song Vav Zayin was made to sort of “Kasher” the term so that “six seven” won’t immediately cause people to think of the movie.
In short, it most definitely is not a Kosher term.December 8, 2025 12:47 pm at 12:47 pm #2483331HelloFriendsParticipantThe words “six seven” are from a movie. (I don’t know the context of the phrase nor the movie.)

December 9, 2025 10:01 am at 10:01 am #2483357ujmParticipantWhich circle of kids from which kinds of families are using this term?
December 9, 2025 10:01 am at 10:01 am #2483362commonsaychelParticipantIt has to do with the orange soap in the mikva at a minyan factory
December 9, 2025 10:01 am at 10:01 am #2483607@fakenewsParticipantIt’ll be a memory before you know it.
December 9, 2025 10:02 am at 10:02 am #2483691The AlterParticipantits the only thing that is somewhat kosher that came from the goyim and it has nothing to do with any movie. Its a random thing that someone made up and it virtually no meaning.
December 9, 2025 10:03 am at 10:03 am #2483804YsiegelParticipantDon’t know of the original source or whatnot, but colloquially it has become a sort of nonsensical “game” where you just reference the numbers whenever and wherever possible.
Back in the early 2000s a similar inyan was abound, where everyone would mention “you lost the game” – and “the game” was just that you can’t think about “the game”, because as long as you thought of the game then you lost….quite silly but the kind of thing kids revel in. Harmless and nonsensical.
December 9, 2025 10:17 pm at 10:17 pm #2484033HelloFriendsParticipantThe original source is a rap song that has the words “six seven” in it. The song talks about death and many believe that the actual words refer to “10-67,” which is the police radio code used to notify officers of a death. This song was officially released in February 2025.
In October 2025, a movie was aired with a plot of kids being brainwashed by the “six seven” theme.
This caused many companies to use the numbers 6 and 7 next to each other for different things, and now it is a very popular saying that many people, especially adults, don’t really understand. Kids mostly say it because they heard it from someone who heard it from someone who, somewhere along the line, knew what it meant.December 13, 2025 11:42 am at 11:42 am #2485452biegggsParticipantit has nothing to do with a movie it came from a rap song and from a basketball player who is 6ft 7 and it means absolutely nothing and your able to say it just bc it came from a goy. its like anything slang from goyim
December 15, 2025 6:00 pm at 6:00 pm #2485745commonsaychelParticipantIts something the Troller Rebbe said during the tish in reference to the use of orange soap in the TROLL mikvah located in the TROLL mikvah factory
December 17, 2025 2:08 am at 2:08 am #2486681reb michParticipantIt has to do with orange soap in the mikva. It’s actually a פלא that the goyim started using such a yidishe phrase. We havta be proud of our mikva, and not start cowering cause the goyim are copying us.
December 23, 2025 6:14 am at 6:14 am #2489834yos77ParticipantSo, two elephants are in a bathtub, … when one of them says, “pass the soap”, and the other one says, “No soap: Radio!”.
