Gingrich put out his presidential policy plans a few days ago called Contract with America (can view him describing it online). Again I feel he is clearly the most knowledgeable and experienced contender, and offers strong solutions including an emphasis on national security which the others are circumventing. However, he is not gaining as much attention as others who are more photogenic or media-friendly. To be fair, he has morality issues in his past, but how many politicians can really claim to be free of any immoral behavior?
I would like to know why people think he is not the #1 candidate given his experience and intelligence?
Policy wise: Gingrich is tops. However, the morality issues that he has in his past are HUGE. He really can’t win in the family values friendly republican party without them appearing to be massively hypocritical.
He also sold us out on health care. The biggest scam since global warming.
