Different sodas go with different foods.

Coca Cola goes well with cholent, but I generally only drink it during Pesach.

Dr. Brown’s cel-ray goes well with liver, cream soda with pastrami and black cherry with corned beef.

I don’t know if this is a soda, per se, but the Baltika “lemonade” goes well with Bukharian food, and San Pellegrino Aranciata goes well with Italian food.

No jokes, I saw a flyer from a well-known (tzedakah??) organization stating that with your donation of blah blah you can choose “a portrait of your favorite gadol”.

What if I think that one has a way cooler beard, but another one wears a really funky rabbi hat? Decisions, decisions…

    diet cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper

    #1185045

The_art_of_moi, I share your enjoyment of Vanilla Coke. Nowadays, I generally prefer Ginger Ale (Seagram’s, Canada Dry), unless I specifically want caffeine, in which case my favorite is probably Dr. Pepper, but I end up drinking Coke anyway because that’s what they have in Shul :).

Root beer is liquified toothpaste in a bottle.

WIY, I never tasted a toothpaste that even remotely resembled rootbeer. And if I did, I would use it.

I don’t like the taste of root beer. Then again, I don’t like the taste of beer either so I’m probably not really Jewish.

My favorite soda pop… regular old Coca Cola Classic. (Or Cherry Coke Zero if I have to drink diet)

    #1185053

Well seltzer is the only one that I can drink >16 oz. of so ill choose seltzer

Cola is better with a striped straw, but they cost more. Root beer is okay with a solid yellow one.
