Help me. I’m starting out navigating this most volatile world full of people from all walks of life. I’d like to steer clear from ‘tuhitzt’ encounters.
Thanks!!

Is everyone so calm?
May 30, 2011 10:55 pm at 10:55 pm #772810HaLeiViParticipantFollow BPT and you’ll be fine, most of the time. There are many posters here that steer clear of controversy. Get to know them. I only steer clear in the non-virtual world. Not so much because I’m afraid as much as the fact that it never ends, and it’s no use. On a forum you don’t say, “nuh uh”, so there is usually a more coherent give-and-take.

May 31, 2011 2:53 am at 2:53 am #772819ZeesKiteParticipantIt’s hard to translate. To explain: Someone got ‘Tzuhitst’ today about something I innocently wrote, and attacked me vehemently. So it’s like “What ticks off a person?”

May 31, 2011 7:27 am at 7:27 am #772824Dovid S.MemberJust don’t respond. Al Taan LeKsil KeIvalto. No point trying to steer clear of every hot-headed individual in this world. You will spend most of your time running away. I generally don’t post quotes of goyim, especially of vulgar comedians, but I feel I must to illustrate my point. Apologies 🙂

May 31, 2011 1:30 pm at 1:30 pm #772826chocandpatienceMemberpeople often get worked up by what they think you meant, based on what they would have meant had they said what you had said.
Makes sense, anyone?

Pple get worked up when you tell them something and they have a guilty consience cuz they do that thing. Even if you didnt mean the comment to them, they begin to vent and you are left wondering what you said wrong!!!
