Artscroll has been advertising to watch out for it’s authorative biography of R’ Ovadia Yosef.

What makes theyre’s more authorative than anyone else’s?

Their one of R’ nosson Tzvi was written by his mother and with the approval of his b-i-l R’ nachman levovitz, but what akes this one authorative?

Especially a guy called Azulay who knows the family well, specially R’ Yitzchok, and R’ dovid, is also writing one, and he is considered an expert on sefardi history

It doesn’t say THE authoritative biography. Any well-researched and documented work is authoritative. It comes from the word “authority” – as in an authority on the subject.

Read them all and tell us which you like best. Like a book review.
