Don’t know if it was the sikkrikim that did this but when I was in seminary a couple of years ago, girls would come back from meah shearim after having their clothing bleached. They were bleached because apparently they weren’t dressed tniuzsdkily, except I know they were. Whoever it was (sikrikim or not) did not like the invasion into “their” territory.

I’m often in Meah Shearim, without seeing anything untoward. I’ve more than once noticed trouser-clad (female) tourists sauntering through the area – though they are rare – without anyone doing or saying anything to them.

They must be addressed in a meaningful way that they will understand. If they damage property or cause loss, they should be detained and arrested and take to Beis Din. If they cause injury, they should be dealt with physically. This, of course, is my own opinion. But in my eyes these are not Jews. They are Eruv Rav thugs who are nothing but a Chilul Hashem.
zahavasdad, I can just imagine what kind of “pisks” these children will have when they are older (if not already). Then the parents will say “where are they picking up such foul language and bad habits from – it must be coming from their school.”

The sikrikim are a sect that has abandoned all pretenses of religious zeal and “kannaus l’shem shamayim.” They are a group who’s shita is to physically attack Jews aka antisemites.
They’re not in Yerushalayim, the recent attacks stemmed from a group centered in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph. There was an article in Ami magazine over Sukkos that discussed it.
Yserbius 123 — They most certainly are NOT in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph! The Beit Shemesh group (which is connected to the group in Yerushalayim) live at the edge of Ramat Beit Shemesh Bais, at the side bordering Sheinfeld — not even the side of RBSB that is near RBSA. The individual interviewed in the Ami article didn’t even live in Ramat Beit Shemesh at all, but in the Kiryah Chareidi of Beit Shemesh proper, which is actually pretty close to the area where these nuts live. Ramat Beit Shemesh A is quite a distance (over an hour walk) from there, and is actually a very normal place with a majority Anglo population.
I’m not sure what “recent attacks” you are referring to. The attacks on Manny’s as well as the recent beatings back and forth were carried out by the Yerushalayim people, not the Beit Shemesh ones. The Beit Shemesh nuts are involved in a fight with the Orot girls school at the border of the neighborhood, and have been protesting, calling names, throwing rocks, etc. there.
