In August & September, watching the days getting shorter, and Motzei Shabbos getting earlier, and then finally cooler weather taking over.

I like the long Shabbat afternoons, the opportunity to learn Pirke Avot be iyun, and the opportunity to reflect on our purpose this world and hashgacha pratit during the period of ben hametzarim.

The outdoors, wilderness, HaShem’s great nature. To watch the whole b’ria come vitally, vivacously to LIFE!!

    ????? ??? ????

Also the ability to recreate and joyfully leisurely, serenely relax and rejuvenate.

    AH!!!!

    Not being cold.

    Also, water sports.

    Also, the sense of relaxation.

the goq: i thought eating corn on the cob is a problem due to bugs that are in the corn. We used to have it all the time until we found out that it’s a problem.

You are correct. You must use a knife or some tool to scrape the cooked kernels off and inspect before eating to make sure its bug free.

vacation and the mindset of relaxation that comes with summer. A chance to rejuvinate and recharge.

Sitting on the rocks or sand, listening to the waves. Ah! Total serenity!

Being able to enjoy nature and the beauty of the briyah in bloom, without freezing my fingers. The birds, the flowers, the bright colors…

Fresh apricots and mandarin oranges. And apple- and other fruit/veggie-picking.

When I get the opportunity – watching the ocean waves, which really relaxes me. Going with my grandchildren to the amusement park or aquarium and seeing the wonder in their eyes. Family bbqs rate high on that list, and we don’t don’t BBQ often, so I really appreciate them.
