    After 9/11 it was revealed that the Moslem terrorists had received flight training in the US but focused on taking off and maneuvers but couldn’t care less about landing. But that apparently wasn’t a red flag for the flight training school.
    A UN guy apparently smuggled in a paraglider into Gaza and bragged about how it could help them, and there are many more terrible stories about paragliders and terrorists in Israel historically. How did they get in? Who trained them?

    Maybe they should have made guns and paraglides illegal and this wouldn’t have happened.

    And where is the outrage over the jet skis? they used jet skis as well, who trained them on jet skis?

    Paragliders are no more threatening than surfboards or all terrain vehicles in the sense they can be used to traverse political boundaries without formal authorization. Anyone who has ever played a round of golf at Pebble Beach or any one of multiple sections of US 101 along the Pacific Coast is used to seeing paragliders soaring along the cliffs. Its not surprising that these could easily be brought into Gaza w/o raising alarm bells.

    This whole discussion is absurd on two levels.
    # 1 Paragliders are not any more dangerous than guns, knives, hammers, skis, baseball bats, screwdrivers, bicycles, cars or any other thing that can be used in many ways for good or bad. It is not paragliders that did the damage but savage animals using them.
    # 2 The lunacy of the idea that your making anything illegal would prevent them from doing it is self evident

    Israel has absolutely no control over Gaza. They left them in 2005. I’m pretty sure everything that involves terror and Jews is legal there. Hamas hides among the citizens and use them as shields.
