Or is it too early to tell, or impossible to tell until they actually become president?

Rick Perry is the strongest pro-Israel candidate.

How so? More than Bachmann or Romney? And where does Gingrich stand?

Ron Paul. He is the only one who will stop supporting the Palestinians.

Ron Paul is the second worst candidate after Obama, although he is not “against” Israel he is an isolationist who thinks the U.S. should stay out of it. (That means cutting all military aid to Israel).

Not the aid and not the conditions! Also he will cut aid to the Palestinians, and will not try to convince Israel into a peace treaty (unlike GW Bush).

Perhaps Israel could use an isolationist US.

Any US president will presure Isreal even if they give $0.00, Isreal will still need the US suport in the UN and that puts the US in a position to be able to put presure on Isreal in return. So with that being the case they better have a strong army.
