..those that “shvitz” and make their pilgrimage at this time, all the arrangements, the packing, schlepping into the truck (van, car, scooter), squeezing themselves into some sort of vehicle too, schlepping out of the truck (etc.), unpacking.. into a habitat declared (by its owners) fit for humans too… the process only to be rerersed ??”? in the not so distant (believe it or not) future.
Or those that just stay put (and shvitz)
I don’t think it’s a question of luckier. Everyone needs a vacation. Those who stay home (and shvitz) will (probably), some time during the summer, go on a vacation and have to pack and squeeze into some sort of vehicle. They, however, will go through all that for a week or two while the other side for one or two months.
As they say, to each there own. Everyone enjoy your vacation what ever you do!

rebyidd, excellent question. It bothers me every year. The answer, oddly enough, is that nobody else did.
If you think the snow and cold in the city was bad this past winter, trying living in the Catskills all year long…
This winter was very hot.
