ZK: Why NOT start new threads? I’m sure you would also if you only knew how…

    Shticky: Why not?

Because then this place gets crowded with threads, wise or otherwise ones. Then it gets ‘shticky’ in here. We can’t breathe. So we have to blow our covers, (personhole covers). That obviously get’s into some people’s way…

why not? y should we have to sift through tonz of pages of old threads?- they are interesting- don’t get me wrong- I do it all the time when I’m bored- but its just easier to start a new one

Sometimes the old ones are so long. Who feels like reading through hundreds of posts from months ago. It’s just more fun to start a new one.

Zees: Why have a CR at all? Everything’s already mentioned in Chumash (and in Ha’azinu, according to the Rambam). But since I can’t find all possible Shittos just by learning Chumash, I have to look other places (like the Gemara, Rishonim, Achronim, and the CR 😉 ). Same thing with threads. I can’t find whatever discussion I need to find in old threads, especially when they can be hundreds of posts long, as Gefen points out. So I just start a new one. (Either that or every new thread is started by trolls; you decide.)

Thanks Yitay. That was a legitimate typo. The m and n are right next to each other on the keyboard. I didn’t even notice it when I re-read through it. Thanks again. Mods, if you can please change my original post, it’s be much appreciated.

I forgot to mention, this was created in jest. (really?)

But I really like how you phrased it ” Gemara, Rishonim, Achronim, and the CR”. So at least if I don’t get into the Gemarah etc., I’ll get into the CR!
