If I say “I slipped on a toy”,someone might say “Oy,are you okay?”
If I (c”v)slipped on A BANANA PEEL,at least one person is going to burst out laughing.
If I say “we by mistake elbowed each other at the table”,you would say,move over,you’re too crowded.If I said “we bumped NOSES”,you would be like,”you what???”(same gender,”relax”)
If I walk around with a hand on my forehead saying,”I have a real headache”,you might sympathize.If I hopped around holding my toe moaning”ow”,it’s just not gonna arouse more than a chuckle.
