By capitalizing the first word of a sentence it makes it easier to locate the start of the sentence. By capitalizing proper nouns, it makes it clearer what (or who) you are talking about. People raised as Anglophones fine the semitic languages lack of capitals to be annoying.

August 27, 2014 3:09 pm at 3:09 pm #1030047👑RebYidd23ParticipantAre you saying there’s a fault in the language?
August 27, 2014 7:10 pm at 7:10 pm #1030048notasheepMemberNo, just that capitalisation makes proper nouns and standard nouns separate from each other.
