Why does Israel always have to agree to lopsided deal? Especially when the Palestenian prisoners are being held on crimes they did and the Israeli hostages are innocent civilians!! Why does the world see this as normal and sensible??

For the same reason there is usually a 7:1 Palestinian versus Israeli ratio of deaths during the fighting.
Palestinians are far more willing to suffer and die and send others out to suffer and die for their cause than Israelis are. Hundreds of Palestinians languishing in Israeli jails is only a problem for them in the context of less fighters. Hamas is never under any pressure to get their prisoners freed from the prisoners families, whereas the Israeli leaders are always crazy intense pressure to get the hostages freed. Therefore Hamas has the upper hand in the negotiations which it exploits to the fullest.

I’m not saying the exchanges are the right thing to do. I’m just saying why they happen

    You have to realize

Every single Palestinian in jail is more money down the drain for Hamas, (and Palestinian authority) because they pay the families so a 1:1 ratio wouldn’t help them

Does anyone here think it isn’t worth the deal to get back the Jewish hostages?

don’t we all know the truth? These Hamas prisoners that are freed from Israel in exchange for the Israeli prisoners are going to be going straight back to the Hamas terrorists and rejoin them in gratitude for freeing them from the Israeli prison and also Hamas terrorists is going to show these freed returned Hamas prisoners that you need to rejoin Hamas terrorists immediately C”V cause even if you get captured again by Israel we will get you released in an exchange deal like we just finished doing…….

And that’s why this is the worst exchange to do. Showing that terrorism pays off C”V. Israel needs to do the opposite. As much as we are davening for our captured children prisoners by Hamas and davening for their release Israel needs to get it done by force and not by supporting terrorists by freeing terrorists in exchange for them cause otherwise they are showing that terrorism pays and works C”V

May we all do serious Teshuva and Achdus together ASAP so Hashem can release these prisoners and send Mashiach already bkarov

    1. If you notice a common sort of behavior of the Yismaelim, going back almost 4000 years, you understand that human life is less important to them than it is to us. No hidush.
    2. Israel is not willing to execute Palestinian prisoners, especially if they were arrested only for opposing the regime (as opposed to terrorism). The Palestinians have no qualms about executing Jewish prisoners, as they clearly illustrated (and note, most of the Arab world, and the political left, cheered the murder, torture and rape of Jews). By halacha, killing non-combatants is only allowed if Ha-Shem, or at least a Navi, or at least a Kohen Gadol with Urim ve-Tumim says its okay. And whatever you think of Bibi, he is a prophet or even a Melekh Beis Davis.

If they’re smart, they’ll inject them with subcutaneous tracking devices.

    @ujm @akuperma
the masterplan behing the oct7 massacre was a freed prisoner of one of these deals.
if a people support hurting a single jew it is our responsibility to kill all of them if necessary.
this is besides the requirement to drive or kill any gentiles in the Land who arent subjugated under proper ger toshav laws.

I’m not really entitled to an opinion. But I was in favor of the deal until I just read in the WSJ that the deal includes allowing additional fuel into Gaza. Sorry, that’s a huge blunder.

Many of those being released have attempted to kill Jews; they should have received the death sentence long ago.

Please answer the following questions, so we can evaluate your expertise in this area. 1 How long have you lived in Israel? 2. Ho w long have you served in the army? How many first degree relatives of yours are being held hostage in Gaza? 4. How long have you held a real job? 5. Is your experience in hostage negotiation a result of years of academic study in this area or did you learn everything from google? 6. Did your mommy ever teach you that if you know nothing about something its best to keep quiet so that there is a small chance people will never know how stupid you really are?

And if they’re even smarter, they won’t tell us about it.

Then entire idea of the CR is for people to hash out their non-professional opinions on random matters that they know little about. No one is claiming that this is a military panel.
