What do folks think about Leo? Will Leo be good for the Jews? Will he maintain the traditional Catholic condemnations of immoralities and perversions (homosexual conduct, gender abnormalities, etc ) or will he introduce left-wing ideology into his Church?
Leo 14th is the first Pope to be a USA citizen.
I suspect that this happened because Donald Trump won the most recent election.
His background (who spent most of his career in Latin America), his support of liberal socio-economic causes, and his selection of a throne name (Leo XIII was supportive of anti-Semitism in the era of Dreyfus and rising anti-Semitism in Europe) suggest he will not be good for the Jews.
This guy is honestly the worst person בן זונה שישרף בגיהינום אמן. Super liberal, and he’s known for covering up all the garbage going on in the Vatican. The cardinals do whatever they want—even though they’re supposed to stay celibate—and some have been accused of abusing minors, especially kids from orphanages who are supposed to be protected by the Church. And nothing ever happens, because the Vatican is its own country and doesn’t answer to anyone. It’s disgusting. I could go on for hours. These people are out of control, and this pope was notoriously the אבי אבות hashmutz
Don’t ask for a too traditional pope – if he goes too far back in time, we will get blood libels again.
DJT did it again – not only he appointed 3 Justices, he now installed an American as a pope (after sending JDV to have a “last talk” with the previous one). Tired of winning yet?
Better use of time to learn the Parsha, which says, among many other Mitzvos, אל תפנו אל האלילים i.e. don’t even bother draying a kup investigating them and what they think… What really matters is what we do. How normal or not the אומות העולם will be isn’t really our problem. This isn’t even an issue of Yidden voting for one candidate or another…
