if you were a mod and someone was you, would you let all their posts go through? meaning do you really think the mods should let all your posts go through?

Believe or not, I sometimes “self edit” a comment I’m about to make, becuase I think its uncalled for or over the top.
Still, I am sometimes surprised at what sometimes gets by and what sometimes gets squashed.

in addition, no one has time to analyze and pore (pour?) over every word

the “diagnosis” and advice you mentioned were obviously (obvious even to a first year medical student) not applicable here despite some superficial similarities.

Yea, usually most of my posts are deleted:) Only 5.5% go through. The problem I see his that Mods only allow their way of thinking. If a non yeshivish person posts his opinions (not against halacha) it gets deleted. I Think YWN is known as a lakewood blog because only the Lakewood derech gets posted and anything else is deleted.

Oh, for Medical Advice, one can go to United Health Care’s website and they have online nurses who can discuss any medical issue you may have. AND you can call them directly to discuss issues.
mod, if an entire thread gets deleted, would that count against a posters deleted count? if so, that could explain a lot of the “innocent” deletion raising the count.
