    The Rabbi Jacob Joseph School was founded in 1901. Yeshiva University High School for Boys (YUHSB) was founded in 1916. And there were some earlier schools that have not survived. But that does not diminish the accomplishment of Yeshiva Torah Vodaath. Mazel tov on 92!

    Where is RJJ now? Not in Manhattan. Edison NJ is a new invention.

    charliehall, it was the first real mesivta for the yeshivisha olam that still exists with glory

    The Mesivta is not 92

    From 1922 to 1948, the yeshiva was headed by Rabbi Shraga Feivel Mendlowitz, who insisted that he be addressed as Mr. rather than as Rabbi, under whose leadership a yeshiva high school – known as the Mesivta – was opened in 1927
