Yeshivish?????

I know that inmany yeshivas they stress being yeshivish. Why shud i be yeshivish?? In chofetz chaim theyre not yeshivish?? Anyways who defines what yeshivish is?? Maybe yeshivish is what chofetz chaim does like wearing colored shirts and learning slower?? Whats the point of wearing a white shirt, wearing my tzitzis out and wearing a hat and jacket wherever you go. Why is greaseball better than modern YU guy??
